About Our Services

 At Blue River Clinical Services, we provide individualized, evidence-based ABA services that help children develop meaningful skills and participate more independently in everyday life. Every treatment plan is based on the child’s strengths, needs, interests, and family priorities. 

 Services begin with a comprehensive assessment conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. The assessment helps us understand your child’s current skills, identify areas where support may be helpful, and develop individualized recommendations for treatment. 

 Families are an essential part of the treatment process. Our caregiver training provides practical strategies that parents can use during everyday routines. We work collaboratively with families to help them understand their child’s behavior, strengthen communication, support new skills, and respond consistently to challenging situations. 

 Each child’s progress is monitored through ongoing observation and data collection. The supervising BCBA regularly reviews treatment results, updates goals, and adjusts strategies to ensure services remain effective, appropriate, and responsive to the child’s changing needs. 

 With family permission, we can collaborate with teachers, physicians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other professionals involved in the child’s care. This coordinated approach helps promote consistency across the child’s home, school, and community environments. 

 Services may be provided in the clinic, home, or community based on the child’s treatment needs, family priorities, service availability, and funding requirements. Blue River Clinical Services currently serves Ashland and communities extending south throughout the Greater Richmond area.
